This battery-operated light is light and portable. Each arm has two LEDs which can be individually illuminated for two brightness levels. The pushbutton control on each arm for power is convenient, but can easily turn the light on during transport in a bag. It doesn’t ship with batteries, but does include an AC power adapter. The clip handles the thickest music stand desk of any light we have reviewed, but that flexibility makes it somewhat wobbly on a thinner stand like the Manhasset. Positioning the arms to get complete coverage over two pages of music takes time and also requires two hands (one hand to hold the clip in place). In a fully darkened room, the Duet 2 allows music to be seen. But if you’re having difficulty seeing the music in dim light, there are better choices.
