Grover/Trophy BLS1
Because of its durable aluminum construction, 40-watt bulb, and decent light pattern, this light has been the workhorse in professional groups for years. But there are better choices today. The light includes a reflector that focuses light on the page, but the reflector screws can come loose over time and require tightening. Since incandescent bulbs light the top of the music far better than the bottom, to get more light at the bottom music requires pulling the light forward and tipping it down. Doing so causes the audience to have a direct view of the bulb and leans tall music and folders forward. The bottom and upper corners of two pages of music are significantly darker than the top center. As incandescent music lights go, this light provides significantly more light than others and is a good choice if you prefer the traditional look of a light bulb.
